OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Hilton Head Island, SC by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Take on nationwide OTR dry van runs with HMD Trucking from the Hilton Head Island area as a solo CDL-A driver. The role features strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM, typical weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and incentive bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections. Fleet tractors are under three years old and equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance. Drivers receive full health, dental and vision benefits, PTO, 401(k), and scheduled home time every two weeks.
Primary duties:
- Operate dry van tractor-trailers on interstate OTR routes safely and punctually.
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections, logs and paperwork.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding routing and delivery.
Qualifications:
- CDL-A license and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
