OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Indianapolis, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking's OTR dry van operation based in Indianapolis to haul freight across the country. In this solo CDL-A role you’ll manage long-haul loads, maintain on-time deliveries, and work with a driver-focused team that prioritizes safety and reliability.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company dry-van tractors on OTR routes and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
- Secure freight, follow routing and delivery instructions, and complete accurate trip paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch and utilize in-house maintenance support when needed.
What to expect: Modern trucks under three years with APUs, inverters, and sleepers, pay starting at $0.65/mi with ~2,500 weekly miles and bonuses. Home every two weeks and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months OTR experience required.
