OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Jackson, MS by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate coast-to-coast for HMD Trucking out of Jackson, MS as a solo OTR CDL-A dry van operator. You’ll run national lanes, handle delivery paperwork and customer handoffs, and maintain a professional safety mindset while meeting scheduled appointments.
What you'll do:
- Operate company-provided tractor-trailers (models under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs and electronic BOLs, and secure freight to DOT standards.
- Coordinate with dispatch for routing, ETA adjustments and load integrity.
Requirements & perks: Minimum 12 months CDL-A experience. Pay starts at 65 CPM with ~2,500 weekly miles, safety/inspection/referral bonuses, home every two weeks, in-house maintenance and full benefits.
