- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate cross-country dry van routes for HMD Trucking out of Kansas City, MO, running OTR solo shifts hauling freight nationwide. You’ll work scheduled miles behind company-provided late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus dependable in-house maintenance to minimize downtime.
Daily responsibilities:
- Safely operate a CDL-A truck, complete deliveries and maintain accurate logs in line with FMCSA rules.
- Inspect and secure freight, perform pre/post-trip checks, and report any equipment or cargo issues.
Qualifications & highlights:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
- 65¢/mi starting pay, weekly averages around 2,500 miles, bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals, home every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
