OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Kokomo, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate nationwide dry van runs from Kokomo, IN as a solo CDL-A driver for HMD. You’ll execute long-haul trips, manage cargo securement, and maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers while prioritizing safe, compliant operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive modern tractors (under 3 years) fitted with sleepers, APUs and inverters on OTR routes.
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, keep accurate logbooks and handle freight paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch to optimize routes and handle on-road issues.
HMD backs drivers with in-house maintenance, strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM, bonus programs, average weekly miles around 2,500, biweekly home time and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months driving experience required.
