OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lafayette, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
HMD is recruiting experienced OTR solo CDL-A dry van drivers to haul freight nationwide from Lafayette, IN (47901). Pay starts at 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500 and various bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals. Drivers use newer tractors (under three years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers and are supported by robust in-house maintenance. Home time is available every two weeks and the company provides health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
What you’ll do:
- Transport dry van freight safely on long-haul and regional OTR lanes.
- Conduct pre/post-trip checks and maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable experience.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
