OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Lennox, SD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Based in Lennox, SD, you'll run long-haul dry van freight for HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL-A driver, covering national lanes. Typical on-road responsibilities include route execution, load securement, ELD management, and maintaining vehicle compliance to DOT standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs to our in-house shop.
- Ensure safe cargo securement, comply with Hours-of-Service rules, and maintain clear communication with dispatch.
- Manage delivery paperwork and electronic logs accurately.
Compensation & requirements: Starting pay is 65¢/mile with weekly averages around 2,500 miles. Drivers get modern equipment, safety incentives, biweekly home time, and full benefits. CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience required.
