OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Prairie Village, KS by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking invites experienced solo OTR CDL-A Dry Van drivers based in Prairie Village, KS to join a driver-focused fleet hauling freight nationwide. You’ll run steady long-haul routes in modern trucks under three years old—equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers—and rely on in-house maintenance support. Pay starts at 65 CPM with typical weekly miles around 2,500 and bonus opportunities for safety, inspections and referrals.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely transport dry van freight on assigned OTR lanes.
- Maintain accurate trip records and delivery paperwork.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
Requirements:
- CDL-A license and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
- Adherence to company safety practices and policies.
