OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Richmond, VA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD's Richmond OTR operation hauling dry-van freight nationwide. Pay begins at 65 CPM with average weekly miles around 2,500 and incentive bonuses for safety, clean inspections and referrals. Drivers operate modern tractors under three years with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by proactive in-house maintenance. Expect dependable freight, home every two weeks, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
Responsibilities:
- Safely drive assigned dry-van equipment across long-haul routes and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
- Coordinate with dispatch to address routing and schedule needs.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience.
