OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Roanoke, VA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

HMD Trucking invites experienced OTR CDL-A dry van drivers from Roanoke, VA to join a driver-focused team hauling freight across the country. Expect long-haul OTR schedules in modern trucks under three years, equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, plus reliable in-house maintenance. Compensation starts at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage around 2,500 and safety/inspection/referral bonuses. Home every two weeks and comprehensive benefits are included.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dry van equipment safely on nationwide OTR routes.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections, secure loads and maintain logs.
- Work closely with dispatch to meet schedules.
Qualifications:
- CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience required.
- Professionalism and dedication to safety.
