- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate long-haul dry van freight for HMD Trucking out of Springfield, MO, running solo OTR assignments across the country. Drivers run company-owned, late-model equipment (under three years) featuring APUs, inverters and comfortable sleepers, with in-house maintenance support to reduce downtime.
Primary duties:
- Safely operate your CDL-A truck, complete deliveries on time, and maintain accurate logbooks.
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, secure cargo and report mechanical concerns.
What we look for & offer:
- CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable experience required.
- 65¢/mi starting pay, about 2,500 miles weekly on average, bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals, home every two weeks, plus full health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k) benefits.
