OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Sterling Heights, MI by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Haul nationwide dry van freight while based near Sterling Heights, MI for a carrier committed to driver success, safety, and consistent freight.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a modern dry van tractor on solo OTR runs, following FMCSA and company guidelines.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain log accuracy, and secure freight properly.
- Communicate with dispatch to meet delivery windows and customer expectations.
Pay begins at 65 CPM with average weekly miles near 2,500 and incentive bonuses for safety and clean inspections. Equipment is under three years old with APUs, inverters and sleepers and supported by in-house maintenance. Home every two weeks and full benefits. CDL-A and at least 12 months’ experience required.
