OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Terre Haute, IN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Run OTR dry van freight out of Terre Haute, IN, transporting loads across the country as a solo CDL-A driver. Expect consistent lanes, punctual pickups/deliveries, and hands-on involvement with load securement and paperwork while upholding HMD’s driver-focused standards.
Primary duties:
- Operate late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with sleepers, APUs and inverters.
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections, logbooks and DOT-compliant paperwork.
- Liaise with dispatch and customers to optimize routing and resolve delays.
HMD provides strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM, average weekly miles around 2,500, bonus programs, in-house maintenance, biweekly home time and full benefits. CDL-A and 12+ months experience required.
