OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Urbandale, IA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Run OTR dry van lanes nationwide for HMD Trucking, operating out of Urbandale, IA. Drivers receive strong mileage pay beginning at 65¢/mi, with weekly averages near 2,500 miles and pay bonuses for safe operation, clean inspections and referrals. Our equipment is late-model (under 3 years) and fitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, with dependable in-house maintenance. Drivers return home approximately every two weeks and qualify for full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
Responsibilities:
- Operate and inspect dry van tractor-trailers safely on long-haul runs.
- Keep accurate logbooks, delivery records and follow DOT requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
