Hazmat Company Truck Driver - Ames, IA
HMD Trucking is actively seeking experienced OTR Team CDL A Dry Van Drivers to transport HAZMAT freight nationwide. We offer excellent mileage pay starting at 77 CPM Split, with an extra 4 CPM when hauling hazmat, resulting in weekly mileage averages of about 5,000 miles. Bonuses for safe driving and referrals are part of our offering!
What We Provide:
- Modern trucks under 3 years old, equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleepers.
- Reliable in-house maintenance support.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must possess a valid CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement.
- A minimum of 12 months of driving experience.

Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
