Hazmat Company Truck Driver (W2) - Danbury, CT
HMD Trucking is actively hiring experienced OTR Solo CDL A Drivers for HAZMAT freight deliveries across the country. We provide a competitive mileage pay starting at 60 CPM plus an additional 4 CPM for hauling hazmat, with an average of around 2,500 miles weekly. Drivers can earn bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
What You Can Expect:
- Modern trucks less than 3 years old equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleepers.
- Dependable in-house maintenance services.
- Home every two weeks, plus a full benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A valid CDL A license.
- A minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
- A commitment to safety and team success.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
