HazMat Company Driver (W-2) - Gaylord, MI
Join HMD Trucking as an experienced OTR Solo CDL A Driver specializing in HAZMAT freight transport nationwide. We offer a competitive starting pay of 60 CPM, plus an extra 4 CPM for hazmat loads, with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, along with bonuses for safe driving.
What We Provide:
- Access to modern trucks that are under 3 years old, equipped with APUs and inverters.
- Reliable in-house maintenance support for your peace of mind.
- Home every three weeks, alongside full benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Requirements:
- A valid CDL A license and a minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
