Hazmat Company Truck Driver (W2) - West Hartford, CT
HMD Trucking is in search of experienced OTR Solo CDL A Drivers to carry HAZMAT freight throughout the nation. We provide competitive mileage pay that starts at 60 CPM plus an extra 4 CPM for hazmat loads, averaging about 2,500 miles weekly. Earn bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.
What We Provide:
- Modern trucks no older than 3 years, equipped with APUs, inverters, and comfortable sleeping areas.
- Reliable in-house maintenance support.
- Home every two weeks with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Candidates Should Have:
- A valid CDL A license.
- Minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
- A commitment to safety and professionalism.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.60 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
