Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Albany, GA
American Trucking Group is hiring CDL-A drivers for a regional dry van position in Albany, GA, which offers weekly home time and a 34-hour reset. The job focuses on primarily dry van freight, with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, requiring minimal physical effort.
Salary Information:
- Drivers can expect earnings between $1,150 and $1,500 weekly based on performance and mileage.
Operating Areas:
- Covering GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.
Fleet Overview:
- Drive our late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.
- Trucks can be taken home as long as there’s a safe parking spot.
Benefits Include:

- Vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
- A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions depending on the time of year.
Additional Compensation:
- Detention pay based on customer policies.
- Layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour.
- Annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
- All tolls are covered through EZ Pass.
Orientation Process:
- Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday held in various locations, including Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
- Transportation, hotel, and meals are provided during orientation.
Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
