Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Hilton Head Island, SC

Highlights of the Position:

Average earnings range from $1,150 to $1,500 per week, based on mileage and performance.
Most freight is no-touch (95%) with 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical demands on drivers.
Coverage area includes GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.

Fleet Features:

Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for optimized comfort.
Drivers can take the truck and trailer home, given a safe parking location.

Comprehensive Benefits:

Benefits begin on the first of the month after completing 60 days of service, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
$20,000 in company-paid life insurance.
Vacation pay and a 401(k) plan with a 50% match up to 3%.
A passenger policy becomes available after 30 days, with age restrictions depending on the season.

Additional Compensation Opportunities:

Detention pay following customer policies.
Layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour.
An annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for drivers who maintain accident-free records.
All tolls are managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Orientation Information:

Orientation lasts for three days from Tuesday to Thursday at various locations.
Transportation is provided by bus or train, alongside a private hotel room and meals during orientation.
Orientation sites include Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
