Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Kalamazoo, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR position that offers weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Midwest, with top-notch equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while adhering to a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset, designed to help you maintain family connections and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily work with dry van freight featuring 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This approach minimizes physical labor and allows you to focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers can expect to average $1,100 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional benefits include detention pay per customer policy, $12 per hour for layovers after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for maintaining an accident-free record.
Running Area:
- Routes covering Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance available beginning the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%. A passenger policy becomes available after 30 days with age restrictions.
