Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Kalamazoo, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR role that guarantees weekly home time and minimal physical demands? American Trucking Group has dry van routes across the Midwest with outstanding equipment and competitive compensation.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset, enabling you to prioritize family and personal commitments while driving steady miles.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You can take your assigned truck home if there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight: Most freight is dry van with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, allowing you to focus on driving with minimal physical exertion.
Pay and Miles: Drivers earn an average of $1,200 to $1,600 weekly based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area: Routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first month after 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days.
