Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Kenner, LA

Are you a CDL-A driver on the hunt for an OTR position that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? American Trucking Group offers dry van routes throughout the Southeast, complete with outstanding equipment and competitive pay.

Home Time: Every week, you get to return home for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to maintain family connections while driving consistent miles.

Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort. Your assigned truck and trailer can be taken home when safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight: Work mainly with dry van freight, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook operations to minimize physical effort and enhance driving performance.

Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $900 and $1,200 per week based on mileage and performance metrics. Additional pay includes detention pay per customer policies, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area: Our regional routes cover a wide area including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. We offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days.
