Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Sioux City, IA

Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR role that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive compensation.

Home Time: You’ll be home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you maintain regular time with family and personal commitments.

Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling. Your assigned truck and trailer can be taken home as long as safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight: Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. This means minimal physical work is required, allowing you to focus on your driving and maximize efficiency.

Pay and Miles: Drivers average $900 to $1,200 per week depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.

Running Area: Our routes cover the Midwest, including Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. You’ll also receive $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
