Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR role that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? American Trucking Group has dry van routes available across the Southwest and Mountain West, with excellent equipment and competitive compensation.

Home Time: Return home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes ensure you maintain consistent miles while enjoying regular time with family and personal commitments.

Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for optimal comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as there is safe parking.

No Touch Freight: Most of our freight is dry van, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook operations. This greatly reduces physical labor, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing efficiency.

Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $900 and $1,200 weekly, depending on mileage and performance. Additional pay includes detention payments based on customer policy, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area: Our routes cover New Mexico, Arkansas, California, Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. All tolls are managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins on the first of the month after 60 days of employment. We also offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, subject to age restrictions.
