OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Dubuque, IA by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operate OTR dry-van freight across the U.S. for HMD Trucking out of Dubuque, IA. You’ll run reliable national lanes with strong mileage pay starting at 65¢/mi, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and incentives for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals. Our fleet features late-model tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance. Home time is every two weeks, and the company provides full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and a 401(k).
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and inspect assigned tractor-trailer and dry van freight on OTR runs.
- Complete accurate logs, delivery paperwork and adhere to schedules and DOT rules.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months verifiable driving experience.
