Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Join HMD Trucking operating from Lowell, MA on OTR dry-van runs across the U.S. This solo CDL-A role requires dependable driving, strong safety focus, and professional customer interaction.
What you'll do:
- Operate company dry-van tractors on long-haul assignments, observing hours-of-service and DOT rules.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs.
- Secure shipments, communicate with dispatch, and represent HMD professionally at customer sites.
HMD provides starting pay at 65 CPM with weekly averages around 2,500 miles, modern equipment under three years (APUs, inverters, sleepers), in-house maintenance, safety and referral bonuses, biweekly home time, and full benefits.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 12 months verifiable driving experience
