Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Based in Meridian, MS, join HMD Trucking’s OTR solo fleet moving dry van freight coast-to-coast. You’ll run predictable national lanes in late-model tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters, backed by reliable in-house maintenance and a driver-focused dispatch team.
Daily work and responsibilities:
- Safely transport dry van freight nationwide, make timely deliveries, and maintain required logbooks and shipment paperwork.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections, handle basic trailer checks, and coordinate with dispatch for routing and load instructions.
Requirements & opportunity:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
- Starting pay 65¢/mi, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses and full benefits.
