Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Available to drivers in Ridgeland, MS, HMD Trucking hires experienced OTR solo CDL-A operators for nationwide dry van freight. You’ll run long-haul lanes in late-model tractors with sleepers, APUs and inverters, supported by in-house service. Compensation starts at 65¢/mile with typical weekly averages around 2,500 miles and bonus programs for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.
Core duties:
- Execute safe, on-time deliveries across interstate routes.
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
- Coordinate with dispatch on routing and load details.
Requirements & benefits:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months’ driving experience.
- Home every two weeks, medical/dental/vision coverage, PTO and 401(k).
