OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Waldorf, MD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Operate long-haul dry-van routes nationwide out of Waldorf, MD for HMD Trucking, running solo OTR lanes. You’ll deliver freight safely and on schedule, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate trip logs, and coordinate loads with dispatch while meeting DOT expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company dry-van tractor-trailers on interstate runs.
- Perform inspections, document defects, and partner with in-house maintenance for repairs.
- Communicate with dispatch to meet delivery windows and customer needs.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable experience.
