Based near Waukegan, IL, drive OTR solo dry-van freight for HMD Trucking on reliable nationwide lanes, operating late-model tractors (under three years) with APUs, inverters and sleeper cabs.

The position features strong mileage starting at 65¢/mile and typical weekly averages around 2,500 miles, plus safety, inspection and referral bonuses. HMD’s in-house maintenance and dependable freight routing help maximize uptime.

Daily responsibilities:

Safely operate a tractor-trailer and comply with routing and regulations.
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
Stay in contact with dispatch and meet delivery commitments.

Requirements:

CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable OTR experience. Home every two weeks and full benefits available.
