- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Run coast-to-coast dry van freight for HMD Trucking from Waukegan, IL as a solo OTR CDL-A driver. You will handle long-haul runs averaging about 2,500 miles weekly, earn strong mileage pay beginning at 65¢ per mile, and qualify for safety and referral incentives.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive and secure shipments in late-model dry van tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers.
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and adhere to DOT and company safety standards.
- Liaise with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery performance.
Requirements & Perks:
- Valid CDL-A and 12+ months of verifiable experience.
- Dedicated in-house maintenance, home every two weeks, and full benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).
