Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Springfield, IL by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.02 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Home time: 3 weeks out, 3 nights at home

Based in Springfield, join HMD Trucking’s team to haul Hazmat loads nationwide in a CDL A OTR partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run team-based dry van Hazmat routes
- Adhere to all federal and company safety and Hazmat standards
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and logs
Operate late-model equipment with APUs, inverters, and sleeper cabs, plus in-house maintenance. Enjoy home time every two weeks and a driver-focused, safety-oriented atmosphere.
Cover around 5,000 miles weekly and earn incentives for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals—maximizing your competitive 77 CPM + Hazmat pay.
