Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Columbia, MD
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking a rewarding OTR position that guarantees weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast, utilizing top-quality equipment and offering competitive pay.
Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset, ensuring you spend quality time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment: Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for your comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight: Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical work is required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles: Drivers average between $1,000 and $1,450 weekly depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area: Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia. All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance beginning the first of the month following 60 days of employment. $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. Passenger policy available after 30 days with age restrictions.

Requirements
