Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Silver Spring, MD

Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity with weekly home time and minimal physical labor? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive pay.

Home Time:

• Be home weekly for a 34-hour reset, allowing you to sustain family connections and personal commitments.

Equipment:

• Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems. You can take your assigned truck home when safe parking is available.

No Touch Freight:

• Work primarily with no-touch freight, where 95% of loads are no-touch and 85% drop-and-hook, allowing you to focus on driving without heavy lifting.

Pay and Miles:

• Average earnings of $1,100 per week based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, $12 per hour after the first hour for layovers, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.

Running Area:

• Cover routes in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky, with all tolls managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits:

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Additional benefits include $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
