Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an OTR opportunity that ensures weekly home time with minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, featuring outstanding equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a steady schedule that gets you home every week.

Home Time: Home every week for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes are designed to provide consistent miles while allowing you to spend quality time with family and fulfill personal commitments.

Equipment: Drive late-model trucks like International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworths, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling. You may take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there is safe parking available.

No Touch Freight: Our freight primarily consists of dry van loads with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations, minimizing physical work and allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing efficiency.

Pay and Miles: Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly, depending on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policies, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.

Running Area: Routes cover Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment. We also offer $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%. A passenger policy is available after 30 days with age restrictions.
