OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Beresford, SD by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Operating out of Beresford, SD, you'll join HMD Trucking as a solo OTR CDL-A driver moving dry van freight across the country. The role emphasizes safe, on-time deliveries, proper load securement, and adherence to federal and company safety standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections, document defects, and work with in-house maintenance for repairs.
- Secure freight, observe HOS and company policies, and maintain communication with dispatch and customers.
- Keep accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation on long-haul runs.
Compensation & requirements: Pay starts at 65¢/mile with weekly averages near 2,500 miles. Equipment is modern with APUs, inverters, and sleepers; safety bonuses, biweekly home time, and comprehensive benefits are provided. CDL-A and 12+ months verifiable experience required.
