OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Elgin, IL by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Elgin, IL OTR solo CDL A Dry Van drivers can partner with HMD Trucking to run coast-to-coast lanes backed by dependable pay and quality equipment.
Our fleet is less than 3 years old and features APUs, inverters, and sleeper cabs, with full in-house maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute timely, safe deliveries across the US
- Perform routine inspections and maintain logs
- Comply with FMCSA and company standards
- Exhibit professionalism at every delivery
Compensation includes 65¢/mi, around 2,500 miles/week, home every two weeks, and comprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, and 401(k). CDL A license and 12+ months’ experience required.
