OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Gainesville, FL by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

From Gainesville, HMD Trucking hires experienced solo CDL-A drivers to move dry-van freight nationwide. You’ll run modern tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by company maintenance to minimize downtime. Drivers receive strong mileage pay starting at 65 CPM, weekly averages near 2,500 miles, and bonus opportunities for safety, clean inspections and referrals.
Core duties:
- Transport dry-van freight safely on OTR routes.
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests and vehicle inspection records.
Requirements & rewards:
- Valid CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
- Biweekly home time, comprehensive health benefits, PTO and 401(k).
