OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Jackson, TN by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description
Deliver long-haul dry-van freight across the U.S. for HMD out of Jackson, TN. The role focuses on consistent, safe OTR runs using newer tractors (under three years) fitted with sleepers, APUs and inverters, supported by dependable in-house maintenance and proactive dispatch.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate CDL-A equipment on interstate routes while following FMCSA regulations and maintaining accurate ELD logs.
- Perform required inspections and upkeep to ensure truck readiness and clean inspection history.
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to meet scheduling and delivery expectations.
Requirements & Benefits:
- Valid CDL-A and minimum 12 months verifiable experience.
- Pay begins at 65 CPM, averages about 2,500 miles/week, plus bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections and referrals.
- Home every two weeks, employer-paid benefits (health/dental/vision), PTO and 401(k).
