Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Plano, TX
Are you a skilled CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the South Central region, featuring outstanding equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving with a dependable schedule that guarantees you return home weekly.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are designed to ensure steady miles while allowing you to prioritize family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as there’s safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Mostly dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work required, allowing you to focus on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,100 to $1,500 weekly, based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policies, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, and Missouri.
- All tolls are managed through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:

- $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days with certain age restrictions.

Requirements
- • Valid CDL Class A license
- • Clean driving record
- • Minimum 12 months tractor trailer experience
- • Pass DOT physical and drug screening
