Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Southgate, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR role that ensures weekly home time and involves minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, equipped with top-tier equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while maintaining a consistent schedule that allows you to return home every week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are structured to provide steady miles while allowing you to spend quality time with your family and manage personal engagements.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home as long as safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily work with dry van freight, featuring 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Engage in minimal physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings ranging from $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay in line with customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Routes covering Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Illinois.
- All tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
