OTR Dry van Company driver (W-2) Job in Saint Georges, DE by HMD Trucking
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

This OTR solo position begins at 65 CPM with typical weekly mileage near 2,500 and includes bonuses for safe driving, inspections and referrals. Drivers run late-model tractors (under three years) outfitted with APUs, inverters and sleepers, supported by in-house maintenance and scheduled home time every two weeks.
Your Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on interstate long-haul routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs and report defects.
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient pickups and drops.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL-A and at least 12 months of verifiable driving experience.
