Requirements

  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Drive coast-to-coast for HMD Trucking out of Washington, DC on solo OTR dry van routes that prioritize consistent freight and dependable schedules. You’ll be responsible for safe, on-time delivery, proper load securement, compliance with hours-of-service rules, and professional customer interactions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Operate dry van equipment on long-haul lanes, maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Communicate with dispatch and follow routing and load instructions.
