CDL-A Dry Van Driver – Home Weekly – $1,150–$1,500 Weekly We are hiring CDL-A drivers for an OTR dry van position offering home time every week for a 34-hour reset. The freight is primarily dry van with 95% being no-touch and 85% drop and hook, so minimal physical work is required. Drivers average between $1,150 and $1,500 per week depending on mileage and performance. Running area: GA, FL, SC, NC, TN and AL. We operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for heating and cooling. Drivers are allowed to take the truck and trailer home as long as there is a safe place to park. Benefits begin on the first of the month following 60 days of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance along with $20,000 in company-paid life insurance. We also offer vacation pay and a 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 3%. There is a passenger policy available after 30 days of employment, with age restrictions depending on the time of year. There is no pet policy. Additional compensation includes detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards. Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday and is held in multiple locations. We provide transportation by bus or train, along with a private hotel room and breakfast and lunch during orientation. Orientation sites are located in Alvarado, TX; Atlanta, GA; Chester, VA; Juliet, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Tacoma, WA; Medford, OR; and Phoenix, AZ.
